  1. Just a few points:

  3. • This software is free. i ask only that if you are looking for a 
  4.     programmer  for MPEG/video work on macs, please consider hiring me.
  5.     You can mail me via internet: maynard@elwing.otago.ac.nz.
  6. • The README 2nd file contains a number of details about the program. 
  7.     Please look there for an answer before sending me a question. Its silly 
  8.     for you to have to wait a few days and for me to have to waste time 
  9.     answering when the answer is already there.
  10. • If you have a bug report, or think I really need to add a feature, 
  11.     please mail me. In the past various people have complained about bugs 
  12.     with posts to Usenet groups or electronic magazines. This may make you 
  13.     feel better, but it won't fixing the problem. Mailing me with the problem 
  14.     may well get it fixed in a day or two.
  15. • The details of encoding MPEGs are not obvious if you don't understand 
  16.     how MPEGs work. For now, I have a complex dialog box you must fill in. If 
  17.     you don't understand it, use the defaults it suggests, or reading the 
  18.     relevant section in the README 2nd file.
  19. • If you upgrading from a previous version of Sparkle you will have to 
  20.     rebuild your desktop to be able to drag-and-drop QT movies onto Sparkle.
  21. • I hope you like my program.
